COLUMBIA MACHINE – Opens Manufacturing Services Division
Columbia Machine, Inc. is proud to announce the opening of the Manufacturing Services
Division in Vancouver. This division is dedicated to offering a full range of contract
manufacturing and support services to companies who can benefit from the product of
one or more of our vertically integrated capabilities.
Columbia Machine is a very vertically-integrated manufacturer, with a great deal of CNC
Machine Tools, Laser, High Definition Plasma with machining capabilities, Metal
Forming, Robotic Welding, Heavy Fabrication, Finishing and Painting Capabilities,
Hydraulic Power Unit and Electric Panel Assembly, and finally, Machine and Systems
Assembly and Integration. Many companies over the past 20 years have elected not to
invest in capital equipment and buildings to manufacture all of their needs. Instead, they
have been rather selective in focusing investments on their core competencies, and
outsourcing a portion or all of their manufacturing requirements.
Columbia Machine is targeting these customers; because it allows these companies to be
more efficient in their supply chain management by using one company that offers
integrated services. This strategy reduces the number of suppliers these clients have to
manage, and reduces all the functions and coordination related to outsourcing. By using
Columbia Machine as their Total Solution provider, it will reduce errors, lead times,
transactions, non-value activities and ultimately costs.
Columbia Machine is headquartered in Vancouver, Washington USA and for over 70
years has been a leading worldwide supplier of OEM equipment and systems. Over the
